I have been there before... The place is not bad but not magnificant. Needs to do quite some walking to get there, and during weekends expect a lot of kids.
It's not the treetop walk that's fun but the journey there is. That's what I think.
it's a 10km walk from macritchie ranger station all the way out to the main road through Spore Island Country Club!
hahah.. about 5km just to get the the 250m suspension bridge. but it's nice there. got to stay there quietly for a while.. before u actually see or hear anything.. the first and last time i went in june.. met some really irritating vj ppl..some girl who was screaming the hell about being scared of heights and being extremely AA and scaring all the monkeys and birds away.in the end the group asked me to help them take a photo and i took the chance to ask them to pls "lower their volume"... spoilt my experience on the bridge man.
i agree with XY, it's the walk, the companionship that makes it great.
