midwest update
I wouldn't have thought it, but GCS is actually a huge fan of Naruto! Evidence below. He's steadily worked his way through 90+ out of 120+ episodes by now! *goggles*
Anyway, there's the three of us from the Midwest, on a couch in Ogg Hall's Fireside.
And I am actually an irrepressible photoqueen, so we shall see whether GCS lets me con him into taking more photos. I mean, guys would probably dismiss photos as "mushy" and "unnecessary" and "wah lao, so much trouble", but at the end of the day, photos and ephemeral memories are all that we have left.

Hope that I'm wrong but it seems that the person whose shoe is the only visible object wore one which is issued by the SAF...

oh, and GCS has reached episode 110 of Naruto by now. my admiration knows no bounds. it's been a long time since i saw someone so strongly attached to a single anime...
jess is impressed as well... seeing someone spend $35 on a bus tix to madison.. and spending at least 70 % of the time watching naruto... O_O such fan-dom.. is .... powerful...
i vaguely recall one particular night where he watched naruto till 5am...

My question is: whose Naruto was that? Wah it costs S$20+++ for ard 10 episodes in Singapore and HK$120 in HK...
Dun tell me it is rented or borrowed or downloaded... as I intend to borrow from u all. I dun think I know anyone who owns it... and my computer/internet connection is too primitive to obtain, store and play 126 episodes of show...

Our mr coolgoh downloaded everything free. (Okay, so there's electricity bills and internet bills, but university housing usually charges one flat fee for it anyway, so it doesn't count)
I still remember watching with amazement as he used Jess' internet to download, then my internet, then leeched off random wireless networks to download... Very resourceful.
I think he will be going back to Singapore in June. You can ambush him then...
yesh. i think he also managed to mooch off someone else's bandwidth and wireless internet. hahaha. er oops. anyway.. GCS, on sudden reflection, i think you have managed to kidnap my 3 CD-Rs. humph.
That is him... haha still remember he managed to get the govt pple to grant him his passport without his guardians' consent when he's Sec 3.
To date he still owes me money... I have legitimate reasons to rob him straight in the face. =)
