Blog as a vehicle for expressing private thoughts
Due to a unique experience, I have always expressed strong reservations against excessive display of private thoughts in a blog website as it is essentially a public domain. So I urge most of my fellow friends to exercise restraint and have the good sense NOT to treat a blog as a personal diary unless you suffer from some exhibitionist compulsion. (This is just a random thought, not triggered by any entry in this blog)
Anyway, I just finished my finals. Math analysis (proof-writing class) proves to be difficult. I figured out I won't do well for this class, but anyway decided to challenge myself in blind defiance of the GPA requirement thrown at me. Only time will tell the wisdom of that decision.
On a happier note, I got into the Vienna Study Abroad Program! Essentially, this means that after I return to Singapore in the summers(damn, the only thing about singapore i really miss is the food la), I will take a short break before flying to Vienna in Autumn. I will spend ten weeks there soaking the marvellous history of the Habsburg Empire before touring Europe westwards, all the way to London and Oxford to visit my friends there. That is the tentative plan for now.
What else is there to say..? Enjoying Spring break now. I will host a friend for a few days before visiting Jessica and Deborah in the frozen arctic of Wisconsin.
About my love life (I know that is what most of you guys are interested anyway), is an empty void. I figured out thatI have high standards and I look down on people who don't practise quality control. Afterall, as I was telling TSK Qin Qing died 4000 years ago....ah....
