What is the style of this place? " What style? It is just a wine bar" - Waiter

Carried out some research to find out more about the bar we went to last night. Apparently, our observations are not bad for inexperienced novices. Our assertion that the place has "sophistication without coherence", is verified by the fact that the style of the place is " grandiose art deco", designed by a Las Vegas guy. Art deco is basically :

"a "modernization" of many artistic styles and themes from the past. You can easily detect in many examples of Art Deco the influence of Far and Middle Eastern design, Greek and Roman themes, and even Egyptian and Mayan influence. Modern elements included echoing machine and automobile patterns and shapes such as stylized gears and wheels, or natural elements such as sunbursts and flowers. "

Can't figure out the sculptures though...

One interesting fact about the bar we went to, it is actually called "The Divine Society", which explained why the waitresses look pretty (according to Jeffrey), though the same cannot be said about the "wine angel", who is" discourteous" by xiaoyang's definition.

Another interesting fact:

"Located within the aptly named Divine Society Club, the private bar has only one entry criteria: you must be well heeled, especially as membership fees alone are over £1,500 a year"

haha, my guess is that, because of the level of traffic in that place, sheer economics force them to be less exclusive for common folks like us.

The Last interesting fact:

The Macallan bar is located in
the opulent lobby of the famous Parkview Square building in Singapore city –
affectionately known by ex-pats as the Gotham City building of Batman fame

Well, this is one thing that is very true, judging by the number of bats flying over our heads.
