Saw CS's call to enlighten him. And I will.

During puberty (>12), you secrete more sex hormones such as testosterones and estrogens which increases your sex drive and the desire to find a mate. However, according to a recent study published in Science recently, teenage brains aren't mature yet. They must wait for their brains to become 21-25 before they are fully mature.

It is found that, in teenagers' brains, there are not as much white matter (axons, indicating gathered experiences) than adults. Grey matter (cell bodies) dominates the cerebral cortex (part of brain you use to think).

As a result, teenagers act on INSTINCTS. They are less able to predict the consequences of their actions, and they are more willing to take risks (as they are unaware). Hence, this lead to one logical conclusion which supports CS's observation: teenagers cannot assess situations appropriately, and THEY CAN'T THINK PROPERLY.

Combining the neural and hormonal factor, one conclusion is reached: proper guidiance for teenagers in terms of friends, values and BGR is EXTREMYLY IMPORTANT in order to prevent unnecessary trouble. I am not against BGR; I know it is unavoidable. But teenagers MUST know when to berhenti and ke blakang pusing.

Kiw's stand has some scientific support after all.

By the way, listen to this. It is extremely funny and cute.
